The client wanted to source a large painting to fill an expanse of white wall, and hang above a bespoke shagreen desk by Mufti.   The painting would ideally compliment the existing colour scheme of the study area. 

Henrie Haldane’s large, dramatic canvases were ideal for the space and would create visual impact.  By commissioning Henrie to paint a bespoke canvas, the client could determine the exact size of the work.  The artist was able to conduct a site visit to gain an understanding of space and incorporate the colour scheme into her palette.
